Copyright & Author Rights Policy

Authors publishing with International Journal of Research, Exploration & Knowledge (IJREK) retain full, unrestricted copyright of their articles. Copyright is not transferred to the journal or its publisher.

Authors retain all proprietary rights in any process, procedure, algorithm, or article of manufacture described in the work.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant IJREK a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to:

• Publish, reproduce, index, and distribute the article in all electronic and digital formats.
• Identify IJREK as the original publishing venue of record.
• Transmit the article's full text and metadata to abstracting, citation, and electronic archiving services worldwide (including Crossref and institutional repositories).

Because authors retain their copyright, they are free to reuse their published material without needing to request permission or pay fees to IJREK, including:

• Reusing figures, tables, or sections in future books, chapters, or derivative research articles.
• Distributing physical or digital copies for academic teaching, lectures, and scholarly presentations.
• Self-archiving the Version of Record (published PDF) in institutional repositories, preprint servers, and academic profiles (e.g. ResearchGate, SSRN).

Articles are made available to the public under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Any third party may read, copy, distribute, transform, and build upon the work for both non-commercial and commercial purposes, provided full bibliographic attribution is given to the original authors and the initial IJREK publication record.

If a manuscript includes copyrighted illustrations, tables, diagrams, or extensive text excerpts from third-party publications:

• Authors are solely responsible for obtaining formal written permission from the copyright owner prior to submission.
• The figure or table caption must clearly acknowledge the original copyright holder (e.g. “Reprinted with permission from [Reference], Copyright [Year], [Publisher]”).

Authors retain moral rights in their research, including the right to be properly identified as the authors and the right to object to any derogatory distortion or misrepresentation that would be prejudicial to their academic reputation.

IJREK respects third-party intellectual property rights and acts promptly upon receiving legitimate copyright infringement notices.

• Filing a Notice: Copyright owners or their authorized agents who believe their copyrighted material has been reproduced without authorization in an IJREK article should submit a formal notice to secretariat@ijrek.org detailing the copyrighted work, the infringing article URL/DOI, and evidence of ownership.
• Dispute Review: The editorial office will promptly contact the corresponding author, examine licensing records, and if an infringement is substantiated, work with authors to replace the material or issue a formal Corrigendum/Retraction in accordance with COPE guidelines.
